102-year-old Jeannette Pechuman finally has a patriotic piece of her son’s life to cherish and hold after mourning his loss for 4 years.
Brian Pechuman was an Army veteran who died at age 63 after battling 3 forms of cancer. He was buried at Fort Snelling in April after his death in November of 2011. Finally, on June 5, 2015 in the courtyard of the South View Acres Care center, she was surprised with her son’s burial flag.
“I was dumbfounded when the major came and handed the flag to me,” she said.
This video is so heartwarming. I love watching people do good in the world!
