It’s More Than Just Giving Them A New Pair Of Shoes

Nicholas Lowinger visited a homeless shelter with his mother when he was just 5 years old. Never did his mother realize that such a visit would be so impactful in her son’s life.

Nicholas was wearing his favorite light-up shoes. However, when he looked around, he noticed that the kids there did not have shoes and that the ones they did have were torn and ugly.

From that time on, Nicholas started by donating his used shoes and clothing to the homeless.

Now at 15-years-old, Nicholas has founded his own charity. A service project Gotta Have Sole Foundation was born from his willingness to help those in need. Since 2010, Gotta Have Sole Foundation has provided more than 10,000 shoes for homeless children.
