1. Transforming Water Into Wine
– John 2:1-11
Before setting out on his ministry, Jesus had attended a wedding in Cana with his mother Mary and some disciples of his. During this great banquet, Jesus performed a miracle that involved transforming water into wine. This was his first known miracle.
2. Stops A Malignant Storm
While Jesus and his 12 disciples were crossing the Sea of Galilee, a storm brewed and frightened the whole crew while Jesus slept. They rushed to Jesus, frightened that they would be harmed by the storm. Then Jesus simply told the winds to SILENCE… and they did.
3. Feeds 5000 people
– Matthew 14:16-21, Mark 6:35-44, Luke 9:12-17, John 6:5-14
While Jesus and his disciples were enjoying their afternoon, a crowd of 5,000 people came to see Jesus and to hear his amazing sermons. The disciples were astonished to see a crowd that large, so they asked Jesus how they would feed everyone. They only had five small barley loaves and two small fish. Jesus multiplied the bread and the fish so that there was more than enough to feed the great crowd. The disciples then collected the left overs and everyone then sat to hear Jesus speak.
