There Is Power In The Name Of Jesus
Security cameras caught the intense moments when an attempted attack on the pastor of a Pentecostal IPUC Bosa church in Bogata, Columbia, is foiled. The attacker wasn’t stopped by the authorities, police, or members of the church, it was through the Name of Jesus.
In the video, we see a man wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt enter a church packed with people. He talks with the greeters and they show him to a seat right by the front. Perhaps having a crisis of decision, we see the man get up and go to the back of the room, he then comes back to the front again and sits down- the entire time he looks to be adjusting something on his waist. As we see later what he was adjusting in his waistband was a HUGE butchers knife, and his intended plan of what to do with it was all bad.
After the man finally deciding to go through with the attack, he jumps up from his seat lunging toward the pastor. In what can only be described as divine intervention, a confused countenance comes over him as if forgetting where he was- and BANG. The attacker falls to the floor, flat on his back. The church members surround him, taking the knife away and begin praying with complete intensity. The entire time during the incident the pastor continues repeating the phrase, “There is Power in The Name Of Jesus.”
