This Is Something EVERY Parent Needs To Teach Their Children

Dedicated mother Michelle O’Neal posted a video of her daughter breaking zip ties for the world to see. Her mission is to let every parent know out there that they need to teach their children some techniques they can use in case of a kidnapping.

Could your kids escape if they were handcuffed with a zip tie? Teach them how to free themselves in less than a minute!

According to Teen Vogue, there are a few things that parents and kids need to be aware of:

Be aware of your surroundings.
If you have a cell phone, dial 911 before you call anyone else for help.
If you are attacked, use your legs to go for the attacker’s toes, knees, and groin. If your arms are free, go for the attacker throat and eyes.
Keeping your knees bent and feet on the ground will make it harder for the attacker to knock you over.
Remember you aren’t trying to win a fight. If you can get away from your attacker scream loudly and run as fast as you can.
