Horrific Accident Left Her Stomach Bruised, Miracle Baby Survives Somehow!
Jennifer Hockley was a mother-to-be when she and her child were involved in a horrific accident that nearly changed their lives for the worst…
Hockley was on her way home from work when she got involved in a head-on crash with another driver. At just 7 months pregnant, Hockley stumbled out of the car to confront the other driver. As soon as he saw her baby bump, the driver of the other car got back into his vehicle and sped away from the scene. Rather than seeking help for her immediately, this selfish man left her on her own in the middle of the street.
Hockley’s one and only thought was the welfare of her baby.
“I was in so much pain. My first thought was for the baby. I was absolutely terrified I’d lose the baby and when I saw the bruising I nearly broke down. I thought it was all over— I thought my car would flip and that I’d be killed but I managed to stagger out and get a look at the driver. I got a glimpse of him and I’m pretty sure he had children in his car but as soon as he saw me with a baby bump he just turned and sped off.” – she tells the Mirror.
As you can see, anyone who would have given her a first glimpse would have thought that something terrible must have happened to the baby.
She was rushed to the emergency room, where doctors confirmed that her child’s heartbeat was still there and it was beating as normally as any other baby would be.
In the days leading up to the child’s birth, Hockley was worried about any complications that would take place during the birth. On November 14th, she gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy., a true miracle. Despite the fears and anxiety, both Hockley and baby Riley are safe and in good health.
The hit-and-run driver went on without being caught and punished. Hockley does wish he gets caught, but isn’t going to go on a man hunt just yet. She is centering her life around her little miracle.
“To see Riley fit and healthy is such a blessing,” she said. “Riley’s the most important thing now, we’ve got to put him first and look to move on.”
