Young Gabbi Shull is definitely a fighter. She has survived cancer, which required her to have her leg amputated just above her knee. But along with that, they reattached the lower part of her leg backwards, which is called “Rotationplasty.” The procedure has allowed the young dancer to fulfill her dreams of becoming a ballerina once again- as well as ice skate, rollerblade, rock climb and more. In this short video, she explains the procedure, and how she is still able to do many of the things she did before the amputation.
As Gabbi says in the video, “Live your dreams, and don’t ever give up.”
