Country Star Joey Feek Dies At Age 40, Prayers To Her Family
In recent months, Joey Feek and her husband Rory Feek has caught the attention of the media for their long struggle with cancer. Joey, a country music star, was diagnosed with cervical cancer that had spread to her colon. Her battle with cancer was well-documented by her husband Rory.
On March 4th, Joey Feek passed away.
“My wife’s greatest dream came true today. She is in Heaven. The cancer is gone, the pain has ceased and all her tears are dry. Joey is in the arms of her beloved brother Justin and using her pretty voice to sing for her savior.” – ” Rory Feek wrote on his blog.
Rory vividly recalls her last moments:
“One of the last things Joey said before she drifted into the deep sleep she’s been in for a few days now is, ‘I have no regrets… I can honestly say, that I have done everything I wanted to do and lived the life I always wanted to live.'”
Joey Feek is survived by her husband, Rory, and their daughter, Indiana, 2, who was born with Down syndrome. Our prayers go out to the Feek family, we hope they take comfort in knowing that they will see their beloved wife and mother when God brings justice to this world.
