Your Cranberry Scones Will Be What Everyone Is Going To Look Forward To On Thanksgiving!
For this Thanksgiving day, try making these goodie treats! Your Cranberry scones will be what everyone at your Thanksgiving dinner will be looking forward to.
1/2 Cup of Cornmeal
1/3 Cup of White Sugar
2 Cups All-purpose Flour
1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
1/3 Cup Butter Chilled
3/4 Cup of Craisins
2/3 Cup of Eggnog
Before anything else, preheat your o ven to 375 degrees F and lightly grease your baking sheet.
Stir the following ingredients: Flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir them in a bowl and mix them until they are fully blended.
Cut the butter with two knives until coarse crumbs form and mix in the craisins.
Use a fork to stir in the eggnog. the result should be a sticky-type of dough.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface. You’ll need to dip your hands into the flour and knead the dough about 10 times.
Pat the dough out into a disk formation about 1/2 inches thick.
Dip a 2-inch diameter biscuit cutter into the flour. You’ll be able to make about 8-10 scones out of this.
Place the scone rounds about 2 inches apart from each other! We don’t want them melting together now do we? Use your remaining dough and repeat the process.’
