Ever since Target made the announcement that their bathrooms would be available to be used by the whatever gender that an individual identifies with- the internet has been caught up in controversy.
While the numbers seem to be largely in favor of transgender rights, there is already a large number of 1 million individuals who have vowed to boycott Target permanently.
Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Roberston has just recently issued an email to conservatives this past weekend in conjunction with Citizens United.
“I’ve got a radical idea, men should use the men’s bathroom and women should use the women’s bathroom. Just because a man may ‘feel’ like a woman doesn’t mean he should be able to share a bathroom with my daughter, or yours. That used to be called common sense. Now it’s called bigoted.”
This wouldn’t be the first time Robertson has fanned controversial flames. In 2013, A & E suspended Robertson for making harsh comments people viewed as being anti-gay during an interview with GQ magazine.
