Dying Fan’s Last Request Is Such An Emotional One

“Star Wars” fans have been waiting quite a while for the next version of the epic series to hit theaters on December 18th. There is one fan, however, that might not have the luxury to patiently wait for the movie.

Doctors have given Daniel Fleetwood just a couple of months left to live, as he’s battling a rare form of connective tissue cancer. He has outlasted the initial prognosis, but the dying fan doubts that he will able to make it until the movie hits theaters.

“Judging by how progressive the disease has gotten in the past two months, I really don’t think that I’ll be able to make it,” he told KPRC Houston.

Actors Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Carrie Fisher and Bad Robot Productions, director J.J. Abrams’ production company, have all shared this dying man’s request to se the movie “The Force Awakens” before its debut date.
