Egyptian 4-Year-Old Was Sentenced Life In Prison For A “Murder” He Committed When He Was 1
Apparently, when Ahmed Mansour Karni was 1 and a half years old, he murdered a couple of people, vandalized property, and was threatening police officers.
At least that’s what an Egyptian court has said about the now 4-year-old.
The boy was part of a list of 115 defendants who were all given life sentences at a military court in Cairo. During a riot that took place on the 3rd of January of 2014, they were all rounded up and basically given the same sentence with little to no investigation of each individual – including little Ahmed.
Ahmed’s name was added to the list by mistake. But even after lawyers presented his birth certificate, the courts refused to give it any importance.
