These Firefighters Have Been Working Extra Shifts For Years Now – You Won’t Believe The Cause!
Matthew Onyshko dedicated his life to being a firefighter with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire in Pennsylvania since 2007. He was diagnosed with ALS around the same time.
ALS, a deteriorating condition, makes it impossible for him to continue working. His family has been receiving paychecks from the fire station for the past 3 years, thanks to the other firemen in the community.
As a beautiful gesture of pure kindness, Onyshko’s fellow firefighters stepped up and began working his shifts for him so he could support his wife and two daughters. They even fight among themselves for the extra days!
