Full Fat Dairy Products Increase The Risk
According to a research conducted by Kaiser Permanente, “women diagnosed with early stage of breast cancer who consume full-fat dairy products have bigger chances of dying from breast cancer, rather than women who consume low-fat dairy products after they have been diagnosed with breast cancer.”
Estrogen was found to encourage the growth of breast cells as well as the growth of hormone-receptor-positive- breast cancer cells. Estrogen is produced and kept in fat cells, so put 2 and 2 together and what do you get??
Low-fat dairy products contain considerably lower amounts of estrogen and progesterone due to the fact that the fat was processed out of the products.

As you may think, these are really big claims. Researchers wanted to find out whether the consumption of full-fat dairy products contributes to the risk of cancer recurrence. To prove or disprove, they used these full-fat dairy products:
- Ice cream
- Whole milk
- Evaporated milk
This was a longitudinal research, in which women’s diet and health were followed closely for 12 years. In the end, expert were able to come to the conclusion that women who ate one or several servings of full-fat dairy products had a 64% higher risk of dying from any cause and 49% higher risk of dying of breast cancer, of course in contrast to women who consumed low-fat dairy products.
That is a crazy statistic, to say the least.
