Storm Kills Country Singer – Wife Turns To God For Support
The body of country singer Craig Strickland has been found on January 4th, he was claimed missing on December 27th after he didn’t return home from a duck hunting trip with his friend Chase Morland. Strickland was the lead singer of the Arkansas-based country-rock band Backroad Anthem. The Goliath storm was raging while he was on his duck hunting trip. Throughout a week long search, Craig’s family remained hopeful and prayed endlessly for a sign of his reappearance. It wasn’t until finally yesterday morning his body was found in the shape of a cross looking up at the sky.
“They found him lying in the shape of a cross looking up to his Father. I know he found Jesus at that moment.” – Helen Strickland
Helen remained active on social media throughout the search, continually quoting Bible verses and posting praises to God during the most difficult times of her life:
Even on the day that they found her husband’s body, she remained forever grateful to God:
Helen then released a statement to all of his fans: “Thank you to every single person who prayed for him and our family during this time. There was not a more peaceful way for him to go into the arms of our Lord, and I know your prayers had a role in making that happen. I know he saw Jesus at that moment when he laid down and walked arm in arm with Him into a better Everlasting Life. I love you with all my heart Craig Michael.”
May he rest forever in peace and be happy next to our beloved God, AMEN!
