It could happen to anyone of us at almost any time, and it turns out, our first reaction may actually be the worst thing you could do. We want you to be prepared to remain calm if you ever find yourself in a situation like this. So you find yourself in an accident an all of a sudden you car careens into a nearby lake, don’t panic, but you are going to need to get out of the car before it sinks. In this situation, you have 30-60 critical seconds to react, and every one of those seconds count. Here are 5 tips to getting out safely.
1. Take Your Seat-belt Off.
2. Do Not Try To Push Your Door Open.
3. Do Not Roll Your Windows Up, If Possible Roll Them Down
4. If You Can’t Get Your Windows Down, Use A Metal Object Or Detach The Headrest From The Seat And Break The Window With The Metal
5. If Children Are Present In The Car Help The Oldest Out First, The Youngest Out Last
