Doctors Say That Every Last Second Counted

Stacey Gleeson’s baby, Giana, had been battling a nasty chest infection and bronchiolitis. Stacy rushed to her baby’s room when she noticed on the monitor that she was slumped over and “very still.” In the rush, she had accidentally dropped her phone. Arriving in the room, she saw that her baby girl was “blue and lifeless.”

That’s when she shouted for Siri to get help. She didn’t know it then, but by previously activating the “Hey Siri” setting her baby girl’s life was saved.

“Saving me the trouble of having to physically dial emergency services was a godsend,” says the thankful mother.

You can activate “Hey Siri” in your iPhone 6s and 6s Plus by visiting Settings > General > Siri and activating Allow “Hey Siri.”
