Dream Center Opens It’s Doors To Families In Need Of Last-Minute Child Care

The unprecedented shut down of more than 900 Los Angeles Unified School District campuses left thousands of parents scrambling to find some last-minute child care for their kids. As you may have already heard, earlier this morning the LAUSD shut down all their schools because of imposing threats being made to the school district.

Facilities like the Dream Zone, run by the non-profit Dream Center, and several locations of the Boys & Girls Club have graciously opened their doors to the parents of the last-minute child care free of charge. Thank goodness there are organizations like this, because some parents out there, especially single parents, can’t afford to miss one day of work.
