Listeria Triggers Massive Food Recall

A possible listeria contamination involving millions of packages of sunflower seeds has triggered a massive recall.

Products from Planters, Sunrich Naturals, and Papa John’s Salads and Produce are included in the recall.

Check your fridge for:

– Planters and Sunrich Naturals sunflower kernels made between the dates of February 1 and April 21.

– Arizona-based Papa John’s Salad and Produce, Inc. Oriental Salad with Sesame Ginger Dressing

Listeria is known to cause a serious infection that affects the gastrointestinal tract. Symptoms include high fever, abdominal pain and diarrhea, headaches, stiffness and nausea. See your doctor immediately if you’ve experienced any of these symptoms after consuming said products.
