This Medical Bill Will Make You Cringe!

Reddit user kgfromthemv recently posted up a picture of his brother’s medical bill, one that reflected the services provided for him after his fall during a rock climbing incident.

While climbing, his brother fell and broke his neck, back, and ankle. After just 2 operations and a week in the hospital, the total medical bill amounted to $367,435.80

As it turns out, the insurance company ended up covering $197,000 of that cost. However, his brother will still have to pay around $1,500. The other $169,000 was deducted from the bill because the insurer refused to pay it.

Later, kgfromthemv mentions that this doesn’t even include ambulance fees, paramedic fees, or fees that individual “specialist” doctors might charge.

One Reddit user explained why the bill looks like this, just don’t get lost in the numbers!
