Never Forget God’s Promise

Society and the world around us had trained us all to fear death and believe that it is something scary. It was never God’s intention for us grow old and perish. His plan for us was to inhabit this Earth and blossom with it in a way that is unfathomable today. However, because of the greed and selfishness that took place during the Garden of Eden, that paradise we were made for, “seems” too far to reach.  Along the way, we have endured many heartbreaks and have lost many loved ones that we are left with the”what if’s.”

But, remember this, Christ paid the ultimate price so we can and WILL see our loved ones again. Know that God’s promise has not, and will not EVER be forgotten. We will see our loved ones again, but to do this we must hold on tight to our faith and not let this world and its temptations sway our way of thinking.

The Bible is clear that after death, two literal destinies await all humanity: eternal life and eternal death (Rom. 6:23)

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord…” – 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
