They Find That This Dog Was Neglected For 1 Year, His Fur Grew To An Unimaginable Size!
There is a caring and loving being under what looks to be like a tangled monster mop. A dog that was neglected for a year, after his original owner died, was kept locked up (with food and water) until someone did something about it.
Animal workers were finally called to do something about the pup, as he was seen multiple times on the balcony of the house he was kept in. He was allowed to roam to the balcony and was given food and water, he was left uncared for otherwise.
It took six workers just over three hours to remove the matted coat of fur that had accumulated over a year.
Russian pensioner Gore Zhdanov, 79, had owned his beloved dog until he passed away a year ago. He left everything he had, including his bobtail dog, to his relatives.
Cocos was covered in fur that was encrusted with faeces, soaked in urine, and was so heavy that he could barely breathe and move around.
The relatives were so neglectful they did not even know the pet’s name. The rescuers renamed him Cocos.
Dog worker Vitaly Kornilova said: ‘He could barely walk, and was in a pitiful state. Relatives called us to take him away because they decided they wanted to sell the flat now that the inheritance paperwork been completed.
‘They said they had kept the dog to guard the flat against vandals but now wanted to get rid of it.
‘Six people spent three hours trimming Cocos’ fur, filling four 100 liter bags with dog hair. After that, Cocos’ teeth were thoroughly cleaned.’
Cocos was adopted by Elena Rivvo, a local expert in bobtails. She has put him on a special diet of vitamins in order to restore him to his once healthy self!
