Let us go before the Lord, for our sisters in Christ, that they may be delivered from the hands of evil incarnate!

Rescuing Women From Slavery and Sex Trafficking

Vision For Women works in some of the poorest nations in the world—providing spiritual and physical assistance for our sisters. Unfortunately, very little value is placed on women, from all ages, in India, where family members sell them into sex-slavery for as little as $10.

An astounding 20-30 million girls (from as young as 5 years of age) and women have been sold into this dehumanizing and appalling “industry”.

They are confined to “the cage”—a room where they endure unimaginable horrors, in order for their will to be broken and therefore, succumb to their captors’ requests. They call themselves, “the walking dead” for their hope to a “normal” way of life is utterly lost, in despair.

Since they have to pay “their” debt, with a staggering interest, their services will never amount to a payoff; which means that their life will be one of a captive unless they are rescued from their nightmare.

Many Indian men believe that having relations with a virgin, will heal their bodies of venereal diseases; so they are willing to pay as much as $500, for little girls as young as 7. Unfortunately, the girls and women that become infected with the disease, themselves, are thrown by the wayside and left to die on their own.

Vision for Women’s mission, is to help other Christians that are giving of themselves to reach the forgotten, by sharing the love of God that will bring meaning, back into their lives.

A message from Vision Beyond Borders:
VBB has produced a 15-Day Prayer Guide for these women. Please contact the office to request a copy or download it for free. Please commit to praying with us that God will continue to show us how to more effectively reach the women in these and other countries with His love and to share the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as we work to meet their needs.

It breaks my heart that these girls and women endure such pain and sorrow. To think that their own loved ones would sell them off for any amount of money, is unfathomable!

The only thing that we can do, is pray, that somehow, someway, these souls will find the peace that we all have, in the loving arms of God. They are sisters in the Lord, and we need to go into intercession for their deliverance! In the name of Jesus, Amen!

2 Corinthians 1:7-9 (KJV)
7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.
8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:
9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

Romans 8:18 (KJV)
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Ephesians 3:16-17 (KJV)
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
