Someone Dyed This Kitten Blue And Then Let Him Be Used As A Chew Toy

A kitten that now goes by the name “Smurf” was rescued recently by the Nine Lives Foundation in Redwood City. Smurf was dyed a blue color by whomever owned him, and was most likely used as a chew toy by another animal.

He was found with 20 puncture wounds when he was dropped off at the San Jose rescue shelter. Smurf is awaiting surgery to tend to his many wounds shortly.
