The Victims Are Glad That Tim Tebow Is Supporting Them In This Time Of Need
Tim Tebow has always been known for not having the same worldly views as most celebrities. He always puts what is right, in its right priority. This time, he cut his time in the Bahamas to visit one of his former high school teammates who was bartending at Pulse in Orlando during the attack.
His friend, Rodney Sumter Jr., was shot three times at the event and is currently one of the 16 victims that are still recovering at Orlando Regional Medical Center.
My high school quarterback left the Bahamas to come and see me. Tebow has always been an awesome person.
Sumter wasn’t the only person that Tebow visited, he visited countless others as well!
Tebow’s kind gesture was greeted with much appreciation from the State, that even Florida Gov. Rick Scott had to say something about it:
“Ann and I are grateful for the support of Tim Tebow and the many others who have taken the time to meet with survivors and their families,” Scott said. “Since graduating from the University of Florida, Tim has continuously worked to improve the lives of others through his foundation whose mission is to bring faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.”
