Jesus-Saves-1Here’s What He Would Say

Sometimes in life, we experience troubles that may take us through paths that we may have never imagined that we would have traveled.  Yet, through those difficult trials, in the end, we find that we grew physically, mentally, emotionally and most importantly, spiritually.

Many people, unfortunately, struggle with addiction, in order to cope with the trials of daily life, only finding themselves bound to a substance that can take away their most precious blessings: their ability to function without “depending” on its consumption; their self-worth; their friends; their family; their God.

However, being bound to alcohol does not have to be a way of life for you!  There is a way to find your independence from something that can be truly devastating for you and your loved ones.

God is a loving Creator that is never out of reach to anyone, no matter their past.  He is attainable through his Word, the Bible.  All of the answers to your questions may be found in His writings, if only you would reach out to Him in prayer.  He is ready for you!  Are you ready for Him?

The Bible states that charity is the most valuable of God’s gifts to us.  It is so precious that He died for your sins and for mine!

Romans 5:7-8 (KJV)

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would   even dare to die.

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

No one can ever tell you that your past will dictate your present!  Yes, we all have moments from it, that way me regret, either because we made decisions that brought heartache and pain, either to ourselves or to our loved ones; or perhaps life just simply took us through a path that we had not fathomed, but others’ decisions sometimes affect our lives forever, in one way or another.  So, remember that God loved you first!  So, in turn, we need to learn to love ourselves and those around us, no matter our circumstances.

1 Corinthians 13:4 (KJV)

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

1 Corinthians 13:13 (KJV)

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1 Peter 4:8 (KJV)

8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

John 14:23 (KJV)

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Romans 8:39 (KJV)

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Thessalonians 2:16 (KJV)

16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Forgiveness is something that people sometimes struggle with, whether one is the recipient of it, or whether one is the one that imparts it.  Remember that God died for your sins and for mine, therefore He forgave us and we too, need to learn to forgive ourselves in order to be able to forgive those around us that have caused us hurt.

Realizing that God’s love is everlasting, should be the first step on our way to redemption.  So, no matter your past, be sure that your present course is headed towards forgiving yourself.

Daniel 9:9 (KJV)

9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Colossians 1:14 (KJV)

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

 Matthew 6:15 (KJV)

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Redemption is being able to atone for your past mistakes, with yourself and those whom you call beloved.  Jesus’ death and resurrection on the cross was His love manifesting itself for your soul; so we are truly redeemed, but we too need to impart that gift to others.

So free yourself of the tortures that may interfere in your daily walk with yourself or your loved ones, for you are fully redeemed!

 Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Romans 3:24 (KJV)

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

God has an awesome purpose for your life, so opening yourself up to His will, will allow you to flourish into the servant that He longs for you to be, in order to accomplish all of your potential.  We are all endowed with spiritual gifts that we need to learn to tap into, in order to truly serve His plan.

Exodus 9:16 (KJV)

16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

Psalm 138:8 (KJV)

8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Romans 12:12 (KJV)

12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Job 42:2 (KJV)

2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Romans 8:28 (KJV)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

 John 3:16 (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The aforementioned scripture is the foundation of our faith, for the Bible states that even the devil’s believe and tremble.

James 2:19 (KJV)

19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
