When Amanda and Dan Tallman, from Orion Michigan, were a newly married couple; like most couples, they went to a jeweler to get wedding bands together. Amanda wanted to make the moment extra special, so she decided to get he husbands ring engraved secretly. After thinking about the loving message she would write on his wedding band, she came up with one of the most unique ideas ever.
A friend of the couple posted a picture of the engraved message on the popular site, Reddit, and has since been viewed almost 1 million times. The engraving, a reminder to the married man to, “Put It Back On.” Amanda made the special request to the jeweler by secretly handing him a note without her husband knowing. Dan told ABC News, “She’s a prankster, she has a great sense of humor.”
“When the rings came in, I tried it on and noticed (the engraving) when I took it off, I just laughed along with everyone else in the store,” he told the Huffington Post. As far as the response the couple has been receiving from the image, they say it has been “crazy.” “I really didn’t know what Reddit was prior to him posting it, Jordan took a picture of it a year ago and decided to put it online the other night. We all laughed and said that if it were ever to go viral, it would be because of Jordan.”

Well, the image has certainly gone viral, and it sounds like the couple has Jordan to thank for it.
